Original Oils, Acrylics and Pastels Sharon Ford was born in Portland, Oregon. She moved to San Diego area with her family in 1990. Her passion for art has been a theme throughout her life, in college, and in her present career as a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services Inc. in Rancho Bernardo. After her two sons were grown, she pursued her interest in painting with vigor. She paints landscapes, seascapes, animals, portraits, "bedscapes", figures and still life. One of her most recent series of pastel paintings entitled 'For Your Eyes Only'. As a member of La Jolla Art Association, Sharon is participating in 'Art in the Heart of La Jolla for the second year. This year she has painted a landscape from a photograph she took of a sunset in La Jolla.
